Description: Pepsi NEX Gundam RX-77-2 Guncannon 70% | Tokyo Fishmarket
The
PEPSI NEX BE@RBRICK RX-77-2 Guncannon 70% was released in
December 2010 as part of a special campaign celebrating the collaboration between
Medicom Toy and
Pepsi, designed to bridge the worlds of anime and popular consumer products. This limited-edition BE@RBRICK features the iconic RX-77-2 Guncannon, one of the original mobile suits from the
Gundam series. The figure, standing at
50mm tall, is styled as a keychain, making it an excellent collectible for Gundam fans.
The RX-77-2 Guncannon is known for its dual role as a fire-support unit with its powerful cannons and its ability to defend front-line troops. As a crucial part of the
Earth Federation's mobile suit team, this mobile suit appeared in the
Mobile Suit Gundam series and is piloted by
Kai Shiden. With its red and grey color scheme, this BE@RBRICK design perfectly captures the look of the Guncannon.
This campaign was part of a
Pepsi NEX promotion in Japan, where consumers could receive one of 16 unique Gundam-themed BE@RBRICKS with the purchase of a
500ml Pepsi NEX bottle.
