Description:Pepsi NEX Paramount Japan Madagascar 70% | Tokyo Fishmarket
Released in April 2010 as part of the Pepsi NEX × Paramount campaign, the BE@RBRICK Madagascar 70% figure is a tribute to the animated movie "Madagascar." The character featured in this campaign is Alex the Lion, the star of the movie, and it's presented as a 50mm tall BE@RBRICK figure, designed as a keychain. Exclusively available in Japan, this collection came with every 500ml Pepsi NEX PET bottle, and the campaign was a major hit in convenience stores across the country.
The collaboration celebrated some of Paramount's most iconic movies, with Madagascar being a fan favorite, especially for younger collectors. The film, loved for its humor and quirky animal characters, left a strong impact in Japan, where animated films often perform very well.
