Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: March 27, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all users of the Tokyofishmarket platform, including our e-commerce store, communities, marketplace, collections, and all related services. This policy supplements our Terms and Conditions and applies regardless of how you access the platform.
1. General Conduct
You agree to use Tokyofishmarket in a manner that is:
- Lawful and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Respectful of other users, their content, and their privacy.
- Consistent with the intended purpose of the platform features you are using.
- Not designed to harm, disrupt, or degrade the platform or the experience of other users.
2. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on all areas of the platform:
2.1 Fraud and Deception
- Creating fake accounts or maintaining multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, manipulate systems, or evade bans.
- Impersonating any person, business, licensor, or Tokyofishmarket personnel.
- Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any context, including account registration, marketplace listings, collection entries, or support requests.
- Engaging in or facilitating money laundering, fraud, or other financial crimes.
2.2 Abuse and Harassment
- Harassing, threatening, bullying, or intimidating other users through any platform feature including posts, comments, messages, or marketplace communications.
- Stalking or systematically monitoring another user's activity.
- Publishing or sharing personal information of others without their explicit consent (doxxing).
- Coordinated or targeted campaigns against individuals or groups.
2.3 System Abuse
- Automated access, scraping, crawling, or data extraction without prior written authorization. See Section 10 of our Terms and Conditions for details.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, server, or database.
- Introducing malware, viruses, trojans, or any code designed to harm the platform or its users.
- Exploiting bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities rather than reporting them.
- Interfering with rate limits, security measures, access controls, or content moderation systems.
- Using VPNs, proxies, or other tools to circumvent geographic restrictions, bans, or access controls.
2.4 Manipulation
- Artificially inflating or deflating votes, reactions, views, or engagement metrics.
- Coordinating fake reviews, ratings, or reputation signals on the marketplace.
- Manipulating search results, recommendations, or leaderboard rankings through automated or coordinated means.
- Shill bidding, wash trading, or creating artificial demand for marketplace listings.
- Exploiting the gamification system (XP, badges, quests, streaks) through automation, alt accounts, or coordinated abuse.
2.5 Prohibited Content
- Content that sexualizes minors in any form, whether real, fictional, or AI-generated.
- Content that promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or incites violence.
- Content that constitutes or promotes illegal activity.
- Spam, including repetitive messages, unsolicited commercial content, and chain messages.
- Content that infringes intellectual property rights. See our DMCA and Copyright Policy for reporting procedures.
2.6 Commercial Abuse
- Listing counterfeit, stolen, or illegal goods on the marketplace.
- Using the platform to conduct transactions outside the marketplace to avoid fees, protections, or accountability.
- Unauthorized advertising, solicitation, or promotion of external products or services.
- Using community features primarily for commercial promotion rather than genuine participation.
3. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must:
- Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others.
- Notify Tokyofishmarket immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- Not access or attempt to access another user's account.
- Not sell, transfer, or license your account to another person.
4. Responsible Vulnerability Disclosure
If you discover a security vulnerability on our platform, we ask that you report it to us responsibly rather than exploiting it. Contact us at security@tokyofishmarket.com with details of the vulnerability. Do not publicly disclose the vulnerability before we have had an opportunity to address it.
5. Enforcement
Tokyofishmarket investigates reports of policy violations and takes appropriate action, which may include:
- Warning the user.
- Temporary restriction of specific features or privileges.
- Content removal.
- Temporary or permanent account suspension.
- Marketplace seller account termination and payout holds.
- Removal of gamification rewards, badges, and progression history.
- Reporting to law enforcement when required by law or to protect user safety.
Enforcement decisions are made at the sole discretion of Tokyofishmarket. Repeated or severe violations will result in escalated consequences. Attempting to evade enforcement through new accounts or other means is itself a violation.
6. Reporting Violations
If you encounter activity that violates this policy, report it through the platform's built-in reporting tools or contact us at abuse@tokyofishmarket.com. All reports are reviewed confidentially.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Tokyofishmarket after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
