Filing a takedown notice
If you believe your copyrighted work is being used on our platform without authorization, send a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the copyrighted work being infringed
- Identification of the material to be removed (with URLs)
- Your contact information (name, address, phone, email)
- A good faith statement that the use is not authorized
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are the rights holder (or authorized to act on their behalf)
How we process notices
- We promptly remove or disable access to the reported material
- We notify the user whose content was removed
- We record the notice in our tracking system
- We preserve evidence as required
Counter-notification
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you can file a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the removed material and its previous location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake
- Consent to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
- Your name, address, and phone number
Repeat infringers
We have a zero-tolerance escalation policy:
- 1st offense â content removal + warning
- 2nd offense â content removal + account suspension + final warning
- 3rd offense â permanent account termination

- Community posts and comments
- Marketplace listings and images
- Collection showcase photos
- Avatar and profile content
- Canonical data contributions
Safe harbor
Tokyofishmarket relies on the safe harbor provisions of the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512) and the Canadian Copyright Modernization Act. We act as a service provider and respond promptly to valid takedown notices.
