General conduct
Everything you do on Tokyofishmarket must be lawful, respectful, and consistent with the platform's purpose. We're a collectibles platform, not a free-for-all.
Fraud and deception
- Creating fake accounts or impersonating others
- Providing false information on your profile, listings, or reports
- Using stolen payment methods or conducting fraudulent transactions
- Filing false claims, chargebacks, or disputes
Abuse and harassment
- Harassment, stalking, or threatening other users
- Doxxing — sharing someone's private information without consent
- Coordinated campaigns against individuals or groups
- Hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, or disability
System abuse
- Scraping, crawling, or automated data extraction
- Unauthorized access to any system, account, or data
- Uploading malware, viruses, or exploitative code
- Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities instead of reporting them
- Circumventing rate limits, security measures, or access controls
Manipulation
- Vote manipulation or fake engagement
- Shill bidding or fake reviews
- Gamification exploitation (bots, alt accounts, coordinated XP farming)
- Price manipulation on marketplace listings
Prohibited content
- Child sexual abuse material in any form (real, illustrated, AI-generated)
- Content promoting terrorism or graphic violence
- Illegal content under Canadian law
- Intellectual property infringement
Commercial abuse
- Selling counterfeit goods knowingly
- Conducting transactions off-platform to avoid fees or protections
- Unauthorized advertising or spam
- Multi-accounting to circumvent marketplace restrictions
Account security
You're responsible for your credentials. Use a strong password, enable 2FA, and notify us immediately at security@tokyofishmarket.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Vulnerability disclosure
Found a security issue? Report it to security@tokyofishmarket.com. We take responsible disclosure seriously. Don't exploit vulnerabilities — report them and we'll work with you.
Enforcement
Violations result in escalating consequences:
- Warning
- Content removal
- Temporary restrictions
- Account suspension
- Permanent termination
- Gamification reward removal
- Law enforcement referral where warranted
