Brand Guidelines and Press Resources
Effective Date: March 27, 2026
These guidelines govern the use of the Tokyofishmarket name, logo, and brand assets by third parties, including press, media, partners, content creators, and community members. Our brand is a core part of our identity and must be represented accurately and consistently.
1. Brand Name
Our brand name is Tokyofishmarket — one word, no spaces, no capital letters mid-word. The correct forms are:
- Correct: Tokyofishmarket, tokyofishmarket
- Incorrect: Tokyo Fish Market, Tokyo fish market, TokyoFishMarket, TFM (in public-facing materials)
The abbreviation "TFM" may be used internally or in casual community conversation but should not appear in official press materials, partnerships, or co-branded content without prior approval.
2. Logo
The Tokyofishmarket logo is the primary visual representation of our brand. It is available in the following formats:
- Primary wordmark:the full "tokyofishmarket" logotype in SVG format. This is our primary logo and the preferred version for all uses.
- Variants: additional logo variants (icon mark, stacked versions, alternative colorways) are in development and will be made available here when finalized.
2.1 Logo Usage Rules
- Always use the official logo files provided by Tokyofishmarket. Do not recreate, redraw, or approximate the logo.
- Maintain a minimum clear space around the logo equal to the height of the letter "t" in the wordmark on all sides.
- Do not alter the logo proportions, stretch, compress, rotate, or skew the logo.
- Do not add effects to the logo such as drop shadows, gradients, outlines, glows, or 3D effects.
- Do not place the logo on busy backgrounds that reduce legibility. Ensure sufficient contrast between the logo and its background.
- Do not change the logo colors except for the approved variants. The logo supports light and dark mode through the use of currentColor.
- Do not combine the logo with other logos, icons, words, or symbols in a way that implies a partnership or endorsement unless explicitly authorized.
2.2 Minimum Size
To ensure legibility, the logo should not be reproduced smaller than 120 pixels wide in digital formats or 30mm wide in print.
3. Color Palette
The Tokyofishmarket color palette is integral to our brand identity. Official brand colors and their usage will be documented here as our design system evolves. For current reference, the platform uses a variable-based theming system that supports both light and dark modes.
